Smart Gas Foundation (SGF), is the not-for-profit arm of Smart Gas. We are a registered 501c3 in Houston, Texas and a duly registered foundation in Nigeria. Through our Trash for Gas campaigns, we donate pre-filled cooking gas cylinders with burners, to less privileged communities in Nigeria in exchange for their trash. In addition, we conduct advocacy on transition from solid fuels to cooking gas as a cleaner energy alternative and on the safe use of cooking gas and cylinders while cooking. Our ESG focus as a company aligns with SDG7 and SDG13, which are dedicated to ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all and the urgent need to combat climate change and its impacts.
